GYPFOR SOUND BC plasterboard is suitable for interior drywall applications with acoustic requirements. Perforated plasterboard for sound absorption available in 12.5 mm thickness and longitudinal edge Square (BC).


Platesboard composed of a non-combustible gypsum core, integrally involved in coating paper, color marfim. The product is ready for a variety of treatments and finishes after adequate surface preparation.

The GYPFOR SOUND BC plasterboard can be used in applications that require direct mechanical attachment to wood or metal structures in or pasted with adhesives.
With square or circular perforation distributed across all the surface of the plasterboard, the GYPFOR SOUND BC plasterboards incorporate a white acoustic veil on the back face of the plate.

The GYPFOR SOUND BA plasterboard is only suitable for interior drywall applications and should not be applied with temperatures above 52 degrees Celsius (125 degrees Fahrenheit) for extended periods or in areas of extreme humidity.
Suitable for application in :

i) Ceilings
ii) Partitions
iii) Wall linings


EN520:2004 + A1:2009
Core: Noncombustible, dimensionally stable inert gypsum.
Paper: 100 percent recycled; front and edges are ivory colored; back is gray colored.
Long edges: Square.


To maintain performance integrity, the drywall board should be protected from exposure to adverse conditions during storage and construction.
